Passive voice is a sentence structure in which the focus is on the action rather than the doer (subject). 

Kalimat pasif adalah struktur kalimat yang berfokus pada tindakan, bukan pada pelaku (subjek).

The object of an active sentence becomes the subject of the passive sentence. 

Objek kalimat aktif menjadi subjek kalimat pasif.

The doer of the action may be mentioned or omitted if it is unknown or unimportant.

Pelaku tindakan dapat disebutkan atau dihilangkan jika tidak diketahui atau tidak penting.
